WhalesBot A1 Magnetic Coding Robot Kit

Screen-free play

Compatibility and age guidance

The core magnetic-block coding activities do not require a phone, tablet or app. Manufacturer age guidance is 3 years and over. Young children should build and play with adult supervision, following the supplied instructions.

Getting started

Open the manufacturer’s A1 user manual (PDF) and A1 parts list (PDF) for model-specific setup and component references. Storybook guides are available from the WhalesBot download centre. Use resources labelled A1; instructions for other WhalesBot models may differ.

Power and safe use

The controller contains a built-in 3.7V, 430mAh rechargeable lithium battery. The manufacturer recommends a 5V/1A charging adaptor. An adult must supervise charging and play. Keep the electronic blocks dry and do not open the controller or remove its battery.
