Before you start coding

Makeblock provides an Ultimate 2.0 setup guide for mBlock 5. Its desktop workflow uses a Windows or Mac computer and a USB cable; add Ultimate 2.0 in the device library, then connect the robot. Makeblock also offers a mobile app for controlling the robot. App control and computer-based programming are different workflows, so check the current software downloads and system requirements for your device before ordering.

This is a complex kit with small parts, moving components and electrical connections. Adult supervision is recommended for younger makers; keep components away from children under 3 years. Follow the printed safety and assembly instructions and use only supported power supplies.
